Your Questions for North American Projects, Answered
Get clear, direct answers to the most common questions our distributor and contractor partners in the USA and Canada ask about product performance, installation, and logistics.
This is a critical performance factor, and we address it through material science. Our exterior-grade products, especially the Stone Cladding Panels and our الكوارتزيت collections, have extremely low water absorption rates. This is crucial because it prevents moisture from seeping into the stone, freezing, expanding, and causing cracking or spalling. Our products have been rigorously tested to withstand repeated freeze-thaw cycles (per ASTM C666 standards), making them a durable and reliable choice for the demanding climates of Canada and the Northern USA.
Yes, absolutely. Natural stone is non-combustible and is the ideal material for a safe and beautiful fireplace, which is a key feature in many North American homes. For all fireplace applications, the panels must be installed on a non-combustible substrate like cement board (e.g., HardieBacker®, Durock®). Direct installation over drywall is not recommended in a fireplace surround. You must always follow local building codes and the fireplace manufacturer’s specifications regarding clearances from the firebox opening.

Yes. This is an increasingly important benefit of our products. Natural stone is an inherently non-combustible, Class A fire-rated material. Our الكسوة الحجرية and لوحات الحجر المكدسة provide a beautiful, fire-resistant exterior siding option. Using our stone can be a key part of designing a home that meets the strict building requirements for Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) zones found in California, Colorado, and other western states, offering clients critical safety and peace of mind.

This is our core value proposition for our partners. By buying directly from us, the factory, you eliminate at least one, and sometimes two, layers of distribution mark-up. This factory-direct pricing gives you the margin you need to be highly competitive. Furthermore, our OEM/private-label capabilities allow you to create unique product lines that larger domestic players do not offer, giving you an exclusive position in your market.
The “Modern Farmhouse” style is a perfect fit for our products. For exteriors, our Rough Series Stacked Stone in a light color like Alaska Gray provides the perfect rustic texture for foundation skirting, columns, and chimneys. For interiors, a fireplace clad in our Flat Series Stacked Stone or a kitchen backsplash with our Mini Ledgestone can provide the clean lines and natural texture that define this popular style.
